Sofia’s life began as an orphan in Eastern Europe and at 16 months old her forever family adopted her and brought her home to the United States where she is the youngest child of three older brothers. At age 5, Sofia played the lead role in her Kindergarten play as the Gingerbread Girl. She has performed several dance routines on stage for Sunset Ranch Elementary School in Rocklin, CA. Sofia loves all forms of the arts including dancing, acting, singing and modeling. Sofia is currently in 1st Grade and is fully included in the general education classroom with her typical peers. Sofia has modeled for Nordstrom, Zulily, Freckles & Kitty, Little Maven, Plaid Buttercup and is currently one of the spokesmodels for the Changing the Face of Beauty campaign. In the Fall 2015, Sofia played the role of “Sophia” on ABC Family’s Television series Switched At Birth. Sofia takes dance and music classes and will be completing her first full day theater workshop with Roseville Eagles Youth Theater (REYT) this February 2016. Sofia is a hardworking and enthusiastic young girl who has a special spark in front of the camera and absolutely loves to entertain and act. Sofia is proud to work with KMR Diversity and is an incredible role model and advocate for people with disabilities. Sofia is off to an amazing start to an exciting life long career in arts and media.
